Please come to the Easter Sunday Breakfast on April 8, from 9:00 – 10:20 AM, with delicious food presented by the First Day School.
At their annual First Day School Meeting for Business, Portland Friends youth decided they would like donations from this year’s Easter Breakfast to go to the Right Sharing of World Resources, a Quaker organization which supports grassroots income-generating projects in the developing world, and encourages economic disciplenship in the United States.
Also at the Easter Breakfast, the First Day School will be collecting items for the:
- Coastal Humane Animal Shelter: dog, cat, and kitten food (Friskies, Purina, Science Diet, Nutro, Pedigree, and dye-free puppy chow)
- Preble Street Resource Center: socks, especially warm socks, in any adult sizes
